I'm sure as many of you watch the evening or morning news, you really don't know that much about just how much work it takes to produce that fancy news montage or get that circular thingy to spin around the 9.
Well, as I'm trying to setup a demo on how I'd like to see WKTV do school closings, I'm using professional animation software. Sure, it's overkill, but it seems Windows Movie Maker is underkill. The software I happen to be using is called Jahshaka. It's pretty neat, if you have a 20" monitor :).
Any comments on how to put an image over a video, then have text over that image, that'd be a bit easier (free of course).
For about the last week, my computer has been freezing in both Ubuntu and Windows. Well, it took until today to get me to do something about it.
When I took the ram out, then blew all the dust out; it was magically fixed. The only thing I could think of is that the RAM was somehow holding in information, or the dust was short-circuiting something.
It's actually pretty simple to what it was just a short while back.
Run the command:
sudo apt-get install mplayer
Do you have a pet? What kind of pet do you own, and why did you choose it?

Yes, it's a Shih-Tzu, and his name is Bandit. I choose him because his father got hit and he was already born.

What was the last wedding you went to? Were you in the wedding?
I can't remember! No, I was not part of it
If they do rebirth it, they need to use the same name. If they don't, people will believe it's something different, and Google won't help that much either. So, I'm hoping they're currently in negotiations with Comcast to buy or rent out the rights to The Screen Savers name, logo, music, etc. They really need the music, to most, including me, it's not tss without that wonderful music that was put to rest by AOTS.
Who's the most annoying person on TV?
Nancy Grace
Just minutes ago, about $300 of damage was done here.
The ice fell off the side of my roof.
Now, you may be saying, "Well, that isn't anything." Well, it is. First off, the ice fall isn't that bad. The house shakes as though a locomotive was driving right by. My first though, something fell over. Good thing is, nothing did.
So, I go look outside. One of the windows in my porch was basically pushed out. The force of the ice hitting the roof caused the walls to buckle, and seeming that it's a really old window, it simply shattered. The wall just simply went back into position.
Then, I figure, that's happened before in other windows. So, I go outside to take a look. I had a little shed like thing with a roof over it a few years ago. The ice took that away. However, I tried to rebuild, but the cross-beams just wouldn't come out. I guess I don't have to worry about that anymore. It took out the center vertical beam, long with it, the cross beams.
Other than that, here's the MELTDOWN stats for today.
